Clear coat discoloration

I car cover my car during the week it’s a late model Honda with black metallic paint. If it rains I get cloudy areas in the clear coat. They buff out but I’m concerned. Any coating I can use to prevent this?

Are you leaving the car cover on when it is raining?

Well, yes it’s waterproof and that was kinda the purpose

I have seen my share of posts where people who used covers would trap moisture within the clear coat which would show up as cloudy spots. Leaving it in the sun will generally remove them. Is this what you are experiencing? Photos help if you have some.

Looks like some of the photos I have seen due to moisture between the cover and paint. The remedy is no cover. A coating is not going to protect against that.
