Cquartz AGAIN

So my car has had cquartz for 2 years now but it’s rarely driven (10k miles maybe)and garage kept at all times.. so I just want to apply another 2 coats on top

Really don’t want to polish the whole car again maybe just the front bumper..

What steps should I take and what products?

Use this as an opportunity to do a test that others haven’t: polishing a ceramic coating.

Get a good inspection lamp, a DA, a finishing/glazing pad and some baby oil and take a load of photos.

Sure the risk is you’ll remove the coating but you’re prepared to reapply two more coats and you’ll produce unique and invaluable content. No worries.

I would inspect the paint for defects as there is sure to be some after two years. Not to mention a drop in gloss.

Besides the typical decontamination process I would go over it with a polish and recoat.

The other option is to give it a chemical decon wash and either top with reload or Essence Plus until you are ready to polish and recoat.
