Cquartz coverage rate?

Hi,

I'm new here (first post) and hope someone can help me.

I've searched and read, and searched some more, but I can't find any coverage rate predictions for CQuartz UK 3.0.

I want to apply it to a fiberglass boat hull, so I need to be able to plan to have an appropriate amount of product available so I won't run out of product in the middle of the application.

How can I estimate the amount of product required for each coat? There must be some sort of formula to specify the coverage rate. e.g.: how many square feet (or square meters) will each ml expect to cover (+/-)?

The specs I can find seem to say 15 ml (+/-) per coat, however no where does it specify how many square feet (or square meters) will be covered per 15ml coat. So to say 15 ml per coat is a useless metric without knowing the size of the area coated.

It sure would go a long way to help estimate the amount of product needed per application.

I would hate to have to do it this way, but if I can't get any answers I may start with a small sports car, work up to a small SUV, and then a full sized pickup truck, before moving to the final 38 ft sport yacht.

It sure would help to know the coverage rates for all products that I'll be using (Iron-x, CPro Cquartz UK 3.0, etc).

I'd appreciate any hints or tips on this.

Also, how much product must be purchased to qualify as a dealer? If this works out well, this is the start, but I don't know the process to get quantity pricing.

Thanks for any help!

Rich
