I applied Cquartz Dlux to all the plastic trim on my vehicle about 10 months ago. I washed and prepped everything with eraser, let dry then applied the coating. I noticed about 2 months ago that on some of the pieces its starting to look cloudy and has looks like its speckled like the coating is coming off. You can run you fingernail across it and if come off but leave a dulled finish behind it. So my question is can i remove the coating from the plastics??? Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Did you wash the trim with apc before as well??
Sounds like you might have used too much product.
Yes you can remove the coating.

Hello Bryan,

It sounds to me like there may have been some previous dressing, or something else on the trim that was not fully removed prior to applying DLUX. Any way as far as removing it now; if it is smooth trim you can polish it off with Reflect. If it is textured trim, you can use a pressure washer and patients to fully remove it, possibly even Reflect (depending on the plastic). As always, a small test spot is advised if using a polish .
