CQuartz Prep Question

Hi all.....long time lurker here.
I getting ready to prep/polish my car to apply CQuartz. Car has a one year old coat of 22PLE on it.
I'll be using Essence and maybe the Scholl honey pad. Should I be concerned with getting all the 22PLE off?
Any suggestions welcome.

You definitely want to polish and remove everything from the paint before applying CQ. Essence paired with Scholl Concepts Honey pads will remove any remaining 22PLE.
