I'm a newbie
i just picked-up my freshly wrapped Challenger today, drove her home, washed and dried her and then applied Skin on it. i think it went rather well, but i do have a bunch of questions:
1- it says to wait to at least 4 hrs before putting on a second coat, is there a time limit? can i wait a week? 2 weeks?
2- if i do 2 coats this year, can i add one on top next year?
3- i didn't see any indications not to apply in the sun, is it an issue? does it just flash faster or is there some other potential problem?
4- how important is the no rain for 24hrs? if i coat in the morning and it rains over night, will it really be a problem and is it something that can be fixed? (i don,t have a garage…)
5- how critical is the flash? i found that if i waited 2 minutes under my conditions, it was hard to blend one section into the next seamlessly, so i ended-up wiping it down pretty soon after applying it. from pulling my fingers across the surface, i can certainly see a big difference between the coated and non-coated sections so it does seem like there's something there on the surface
6- can it be applied on plastic trims and similar plastic surfaces?
