I checked the forecast on Sunday morning. Clear for a whole week! Nice!

Applied cquartz UK to all panels on my black paint.

Fast foreword 17 hours - sitting at my desk indoors at work, here comes the rain.

I checked quickly over my lunch hour and did see a bunch of water spots.

Am I in trouble? I should have applied Reload but ran out of time.

I know it's advised to not use soap for at least a week. Should I wait to wash with soap and hope that the water spots don't "set"?

Thanks !

Water isn't the problem, it's letting the water dry on it before it's protected completely.

Reload before letting water dry on there.

Now that you are where you are remove the spots with reload. It will probably take them right out. The longer you wait the bigger trouble.

If reload doesn't do I then vinegar or spotless but be advised you risk by using chemicals before 3-7 days but better that than leaving spots to cure in there

Reload won't hurt of course

I did just order some Spotless and Reset for future use. Hopefully Reload will remove the spots. Applying Reload without first washing away possible contaminates worries me a bit.

Right, if it's dirty you would wash before Reload. If it's not bonded you would simply rinse well and wash gently with a VERY light dilution of Reset.

If it's just dust then you can carefully use reload as a waterless wash / sealant. First wipe is zero pressure and after dust is pulled you switch to clean side and keep working

You might also consider Ultima waterless wash (diluted an xtra 50%) them reload

Do you think Duragloss 901 would cause any issues with the coating at this point?
