Hi all, as my previous post, my car is protected with 1.5 weeks old CQUK (2 coats) + Reload. Yesterday, I've noticed several mustard little spots on the car and they looks like bee/bird droppings. I then used a soaked towel to soak it in before carefully rubbing them away, but it still left behind some etching marks which only can be see at certain angle...

Isn't CQUK/Reload supposedly to make them easier to remove and protected against leaving any marks?? It took me the same effort to remove them on my other wax protected car and pretty much the same marks (which I haven't gotten around to apply CQUK). What is the best way to prevent or remove the marks? Thanks!

Hi , both CQUK and Reload make a barrier to the clearcoat to some degree
if the bird drop really baked with the sun , not much you can do,at least it doeasnt penetrate deep to the car clearcoat , best thing to do with bird etching is to remove them asap you see them, not to let dry too long , to remove these marks you need to polish it with finishing polish, like Reflect , even by hand polish , and recoat again that area. HTH
