Applied CQUK to a customers brand new '15 S550 over the holiday. Talked to him today about our weekly miantence washes. He said he noticed that the car seems clingy or staticy. He said that he drove it around the neighborhood & all kinds of dust stuck to it. Will reload alleviate this? I've noticed that CQUK doesent have a slick finish after it cures, I guess that's the reason it's got a static effect?

The RELOAD will make it slicker. I have applied CQUK and another brand coating. Neither coating alone was slick. In both cases, I had the vehicles sit in the garage overnight. The CQUK had the RELOAD applied within 24 hours so I never noticed that issue.

Hydro2 will make it slick also.

Can you go over the process, products, application that you used. UK is super slick and doesn't attract or hold on to dust in my experience.

I would check the car again, what customer describe doesnt sound good.
check if you applied well and no high spots or haze left over the car.. it shouldnt be sticky after so long time, or maybe hos description is different, better check yourself his car.

Cars fine. Customer couldn't be happier. Went by & checked it out (this was a while back) seemed fine to me. Washed it with reset & applied reload. Haven't had any issues since. I do remember that car not having a slick finish. The past few that I've done have been really slick. What could have possibly caused it not to be slick?

I have recently replaced Opticoat 2.0 with CQUK version 2014 on my own car. The surface is not slick but not tacky either. It is slicker than Opticoat 2.0 but less slick than Reload. What is very, very interesting is that, when I wash it, my washmitt is sliding on a SUPER slick surface, even SLICKER than Reload on another car.

My conclusion is that: CQUK v2014 is not slick nor tacky when dry but suddenly becomes super slick when wet. Also, my car stays very clean for 1 week now. It is cleaner longer than OC2.0 I had before. I don't know why your customer would complain about dust but I have very little dusting issue on my own car and I have not topped it with Reload yet. Ah, CQUK beads/sheets like crazy.
