Customer was referred to my by Ben who had me detail and coat his gmc truck. Not a ton of correction work on this year old truck, just a handful of small scratches and the typical wash marks and marring.
Started off with a foam bath and wash with chemical guys honey do and Carpro merino wool mitt, followed up with wheel and paint Decon with iron X. Gentle surface cleanse with ultima WW and Carpro Decon towel and she was ready for a light polish and spot scratch removal to correct defects. Carried this out with the Rupes 21 and HD Speed. Cleaned up all the oils and residue with eraser and prepped for coating with CQUARTZ Classic.
There were a handful of fun areas... Notably large amounts of plastic that needed a good apc scrub prior to eraser and coating with DLUX. Chrome wheels got a light polish and were also coated with DLUX.
Even got a little assistance from the small finger of my helper, errr.... Uhhh... Wife before delivery on all those annoying little holes in the grill. Haha.
In to the fun... Interior wasn't bad by any means but severe Jean dye transfer on the drivers seat and a few interesting stains in the carpet kept things interesting. Cleaned with a combination of apc, steam and an assortment of brushes.
It was a fun project that came out beautifully. All exterior paint, plastic, chrome and wheels were coated with classic, U.K. or DLUX and interior was fully detailed and coated with CQUARTZ leather for long lasting protection.
