Door ding with ceramic coating

Hey guys. New to this forum. I have been using Car Pro products for the last year and love it. I have 3 vehicles coated now with cQuartz.

I have a quick question for the group.

Today my wife’s black X5m received a nice door paint transfer from a car that parked next to us. The impact did not leave a ding but a noticeable paint transfer. I hit the spot with a little reset and the paint (white from the other car) came off but there is a noticeable “skid” from the door hitting outlet door. I have cquartz finest and didn’t know what I should try to spot correct this. Should I hit it with essence and then re apply that door?

I can post pictures if needed

Depending on how big the area is, me personally, I would redo the panel in question after correcting to ensure success.
