Yep, I wonder where all the water goes that it absorbs? Great towel!!

The Dry Me Crazy is the real deal! Corey, do you think Thomas would consider adding a foam core drying towel to the finest MF arsenal the world has seen?

Hey Old Tiger,
I am not sure if you meant ME with "Thomas", but I will reply to your question.

What do you exactly mean? Something like the "Guzzler HD Waffle Drying towel"? It had also a foam core coated with waffle weave microfiber. If you mean this kind of product, the Problem is, that the flexibility is completely gone when you add a foam core to a towel. Even a very thin foam doesnt help much (and at the end: Less foam means less soaking ability).

We have a big production meeting this week over here in Germany - we can discuss to make a prototype just to see how it works. Dont expect too much, in my personal opinion this wont work well - bet never say never ;-)

Thanks for the prompt response! Something like the Mothers or Guzzler HD is indeed what I Asked about.

I like a foam core to pat dry the vertical panels. I prefer Mothers to Guzzler HD. The MF does indeed not flex. This allows me to hold the towel against a vertical panel and pat dry the panels.
Thanks for the fast response!

The product in the link below should work as a "pat to dry" towel. It is microfiber with a foam core and I use them now and then. They are cheap, can be found in any discount store and they absorb a lot of water. However, you can not dry with them as usual because you must pat the panel dry, not rub. I don't use them often because I usually spray a quick wax type product as a drying aid after a wash and this requires you to rub dry more than pat dry: http://www.amazon.com/The-OriginalTM-Microfiber-Absorbent-Multipurpose/dp/B004M0P34M

I do admit that I would love a towel that you can easily hold flat against a door panel for example. That would be awesome!

Thanks for your Explanation. As said, we have tomorrow a big Meeting and I promise to discuss this idea with our production leader. Because we are sewing and cutting the DMC in Germany from now (Fabric is still Korean made) we have a good chance to make a sample towel with a core inside. Please be Patient with this Story, we have a few other very important products in development which must be finished first... but we will try to make a sample, I promise!

Can you imagine being a fly on the wall in this meeting? :):) More exciting then being in the special forces planning bunker! Lol

In the mean time, you can buy the Mothers foam core on Amazon with free shipping. It is real nice on vertical panels. I follow up with the e incomparable DMC!

Thanks so much! I would love a few foam cores made to your amazing standards

Dear Friends

I was just staring at our two Dry Me Crazy towels on their hangers last night. I was admiring their awesome construction and feeling awe over how well they dry and how much water they can hold.

For anyone who's new to Dry Me Crazy, I hope you'll put the towel into a clean bucket of water and keep it there until it's fully saturated. Then pull it out and see how heavy it is.

The Mothers MF is located at -LINK REMOVED-

My review is below! This is the best MF ever for blotting! Is thick foam core allows to lay the towel out flat on horizontal or vertical panels. I hold the MF in my left hand up against the panel Im drying. I pat the towel with my right hand. Overlap patting to ensure all surface under MF gets blot dried. Next I move the MF over and repeat. No marring because the MF doesn't rub over the paint. This method works great for Rinseless or Waterless washes too. Hope this helps!

I hope MM decides to try a prototype.

I think even if they put some kind of straight wire or something in 1 side of the seam it would help to keep the towels shape when you hold it over the door panels.

We had the big production development Meeting today and as promised, we discussed about the "sponge core" for a drying towel. And what can I say... we will build one in a couple of weeks as a prototype. It was very interesting even for me, because we talked about SPONGES in General. The sponges we actually use in the Incredisponge and even in the -pad / mitt, are sponges who can HOLD much water. But there are special foams available, who can "attract" (hope this is the right word) water! That means, the sponge could work like a "magnet" when water is nearby.

My concerns are, that the fabric of the DMC towel would be too thick so it Needs too Long time till the water Comes thru and gets in contact with the sponge. For sure, we will try and if there is a demand we can create this Special towel. But first we have to try.... Needs some more weeks to go but I will Keep you informed!

Great news! I think a waffle weave MF may be better. Or maybe one side waffle and the other DMC MF!

I will certainly purchase if you decide to manufacture one!
