Drying

This is my preference...

I put mine on the furniture dolly, to prevent it from tipping over while dragging it around.

That is actually a twin motor 8 HP (Blower only). You will want decent circuit breakers to avoid tripping them. I've been planning to add these to the store for quite some time and need to get on that.

I use one as well and the largest (but very pricey) benefit is to remove all water from any area a towel couldn't go. For sure, it is also the safest method assuming you are very careful with it. The downside is without good technique you will keep blowing water our of crevices onto areas you dried already and the air moves so fast it will heat the hose and eventually be blowing hot air as well.

Awesome tool though! Especially for wheels etc, I use mine on my Sky every time so I leave not a single drip of water even in the engine bay but on a lot of cars I've gone to using my Dry Me Crazy or Waverider as its faster. Still use my Master Blaster for wheels almost every time.
 
I have the smaller blaster for motorcycles. Use it everyday,works just as well as the larger one. The warm air helps with the drying,anything left I blot dry.
 
Holy cow pricey is right...... I have seen where some people use electric leaf blowers some use compressed air other stick with the towels just wonder if it is worth it to look into using something besides just towels. I just detail my family and friends cars and never for any money but I have caught the detail bug......

I use a combination of Microfiber Madness: Dry Me Crazy towels, MasterBlaster and Compressed air.
 
I use an electric leaf blower which gets about 75-80% of the water off and use my Dry Me Crazy towels to get the rest. As much as I'd like to have a master blaster it's hard to justify the cost when all I detail is my 4 vehicles at the house. If I was detailing on a part time or full time basis I would by a Master Blaster.
 
I have a Master Blaster (as weekend Pro) and I can tell you that the productivity power of the blaster sure outclass the leaf blower. Another problem with the leaf blower is that the air you are delivering on the paint is not filtered so any dust, dirt and debris will be blasted on your paint at a high rated speed.

The master blaster does
1) have more power
2) has a filtration system
3) delivers heated air
4) have more maneuverability (with its flexible tube) than a leaf blower

It is definitely a HUGE expense, which I would have a hard time justifying, if I was just maintaining my cars, however if you do 2 cars/month and don't want the pesky mineral deposits in the grill, in the body lines and want to blast that dripping water out of the mirror and door handles, or accumulated water in the corners of the cowl etc... then a blaster is must (in my opinion). It is worth it big time just on the time savings blasting the door jambs and trunk gaskets alone (followed by a quick MF wipedown).
 
I have my eye on the Air Force Blaster.
The Master Blaster is a little too many coins for me and the hard to reach places are all I really need to take care of.
 
I bit the bullet and picked up the Master blaster. Holy crap this thing puts out some air flow!!!

I get my wife's Porsche Cayman done in no time! And my Harley is no match for it either.

The drying time is cut in half and to me the initial expense was worth it. Nice solid piece of equipment too.Dry Me Crazy and Master Blaster is a great combination...
