ECH2O Kudos and some questions

After going through half of the 16 oz bottle I picked up over Black Friday I am really enjoying ECH20. I love the color, scent, lubricity and shine (especially on coated surfaces). I have ONR and Ultima WW but I don't really use them too often as it usually is warm enough for me to use a hose. However this winter I have vowed to only wash my daily driver (8 year old Honda) with rinseless washes. Prior to doing so I corrected the car just to see if I end up scratching the car in the process.

Questions:
1. I have noticed some staining on my (brand new) big red sponge, I assume this is ok as I have washed it and it rinses clean, it just has darkened on the leading edges.
2. In various forums many detailers will use a bucket of product for multiple washes. Is there any reason why I shouldn't mix up a larger batch and use it for 2-3 washes over 2 weeks?
3. Are there any issues with presoaking with a different product like ONR? I want to use up my older products as I go through the winter. I havn't noticed any issues yet but I wanted to ask anyway.
4. Finally, I tend to presoak using a WW strength, but I noticed that some companies recommend just using the same dilution as the wash. If I presoak with ECH2O at 1:10-1:15 is it beneficial or am I just wasting product by not presoaking at 1:200?

Also a shout out to Merlin for the "Merlin's Elixir" recipe, I like the added protection and (lets face it being a hobbyist, detailing products can get expensive) this lets me add a boost without going through my bottle of reload as quickly.

Thanks!

I am not sure what you mean about ONR staining your big red sponge. I haven't noticed this. I will on occasion clean the sponge out with APC after a few washes.

With regards to a pre-soak with ONR just use the same dilution ratio you use in your bucket. Works fine especially since you are going over that area with an ONR wash.

I fill up mu bucket with 4-4.5 gallons of water and mix the proper amount of ONR. I will use it for a few washes as it is ok with this product. I also modified my grit guard by cutting an inch off the legs to have access to more product. Anyway I have been using ONR this way for the past 6 months with no issues. Meaning no scratching or marring.

I have followed up an ONR wash with Ech2o mixed as a quick detailer. Works great. Gloss and slickness are amazing.

I stand corrected on the sponge, I didn't even think to try APC since it was rinsing clean. Kind of a stupid oversight on my part but now it is back to the original color, thanks for your input.
