I've been using a blank bottle with the mixed products and giving it to clients that I detail their cars.
That along with a Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile (16" x 16") for fingerprints and environmental bombs.
For me this is an exciting product that I can hand them "off the shelf" so they can keep their car looking good.

Mine will be here tomorrow!!!!

Feedback would be awesome.

I believe there was a shipping delay due to the fact that Corey was not satisfied with the first production run.
Corey is fussy about products he sells. He could have shipped out the first shipment but he did quality control.
For me, I find that truly refreshing to know that he is about quality products and not just peddling chemicals.

I used the new Elixir over the next few weeks and my first impression was that I immediately felt more slickness compared to the 2oz ech20/reload mix. I have been applying them with the 2 face towels one with the short nap to apply it and the other one I use the long nap side. This combo works wonders because they dont lint. It smells like reload so I know theres some reload/silica in it.

I’ve not mixed hydro2 in it. I did try Hydro2lite as a QD. Looked great. Then again, hydro2 is one of my all time favorite CarPro products.

Honestly I can’t remember the ratio I used when I mixed echo and reload.

Elixir is a great product. I really like the gloss it leaves.

I use 2oz of Reload and 2oz of Echo in a 16oz bottle with distilled water.

I have added Hydro2 (1 oz) to the mix.
I think it lasts longer and works better but it’s slightly (not much) harder to remove.

I am wondering the same as dman68 has asked.. Can Elixer replace the application of Reload as maintenance to Cquartz 3.0? I coated my car about 6 months ago and have ran out of the small bottle of Reload.
So just wondering if I should order Reload or try Elixer. I have been applying Reload about every 2 months.

Thanks, Bob

You can use Elixir as often as you like. It will leave protection behind as well. it is a great product.

But can it replace the application of Reload in the maintenance routine or for the application after CQuartz. Why use Reload by itself when Elixir will most likely give better results? Just curious.

As I mentioned you can use Elixir as often as you like for maintenance. It will leave protection behind. You are looking at around a month's durability. According to Corey, Reload will give the more durable protection. I am not a heavy Reload user as I don't top the coatings on my personal car with anything other than Ech2o.

You are going to have to ask Corey or a CarPro rep as to whether or not Elixir can be used after an application of a cquartz coating.

I use Elixir all the time (there is some Reload in it) on my coated vehicles.
I keep a small 16oz bottle in the car along with two CarPro 2 Face (No Lint) 16" x 16" towels.
Depending on the color of the vehicle (in a very few cases) I have found Reload "may" streak.
Reload 100% will offer the better protection. Reload looks great and it feels slick.
