I am new to this product, i have used this on 3 vehicles. While original Essence i have 20 plus applications I am not too sure if I am using Essence plus correctly.

After claying vehicle, I am applying with CarPro Glosser white pad on my Torq10fx polisher set at highest speed which is 4 (after spreading around product on spd 1)

I noticed on the bottle it says to apply on speed 1-3. How is everyone else using this product?

I have used Essence+ a few times and I found that the lower speed is fine. I look at Essence+ as a glaze and not a polish. So I don't see the point of using high speed. But if it is working for you then why change?

Low speed here too on a Gloss pad. Not my favorite CarPro product. I find the coating is a little dull after application. Not the game changer original Essence was.

I use it as a coating repair/boost agent. I know it says that it can be used for jeweling but seem to have better success with its original purpose.

Lets get one thing out of the way first… CarPro Essence PLUS is NOT Essence… Where Essence could go UNDER the coat, Essence PLUS can go OVER the coat. Essence PLUS is a unique, easy to use, SiO2 coat made from a distinct blend of ceramic coat repair agents, high gloss quartz resins, and hydrophobic nanoparticles!

The concept behind Essence PLUS was an extremely glossy, semi-permanent nano-agent for repairing durable ceramic coatings, which has been abused or mistreated over the course of time. Historically, the only option that a technician had was to polish or compound the damaged ceramic coating and then re-coat, starting from scratch.

However… over the course of development, Essence PLUS grew into something… unexpected but equally satisfying! It is not coated… but uncoated paint that finds its way into the “cross-hairs” of Essence PLUS

I recently used essence plus to try and gloss up a 1 year old ceramic coating.
After a week of looking at it i decided it is still not glossy enough.
Can I use a product like GLISS over this essence plus ,will it bond?

Pulled from the product description for Gliss

Q. Can it be used on top of Reload, Essence Extreme, or Essence Plus?

A. No since they will not allow the coating to bond to the surface.

You can try it and see if it works out. At the same time it could just be time to repolish and recoat.
