Essence polish is amazing, and it really leaves a hard protective layer on paint i can tell by the product permanently drying hard on my CarPro black MF pad!

What do you pros do after polishing with essence, spray with apc and wash clean?

About polishing pads, the black mf carpro pad finishes amazing are there any alternatives with a bit more cut?

Hi Ray, see response below.

Like all other pads, I have a bucket filled with a mix of warm water and APC. When I change pads, I toss the used pad into the bucket to soak. When I'm done for the day, I fully clean all pads with with warm water and dry face down on a drying rack or a few grit guards.

I want to be sure I know which pads you are talking about. Did you buy them here? If so please post a link to them. Also, are you asking about a pad to use specifically with Essence, or are you open to using another polish or a compound? Essence was not formulated to be used as a compound for any kind of serious correction work. For serious correction, you need need to use a compound, then follow up with Essence.

I will get Scholls S3 compound for correction then use Essence to finish.

+1 on using CarPro Gloss Pads with Essence. I do like to use a microfiber cutting pad with Essence on paint that is swirled or has minor scratching.

I will order those pads also! I also have Essence Plus which i have not used as of yet. Could i ask if the CarPro gloss pads would be best suited for "jeweling" I got the Essence plus mainly for final finish or jeweling
