Status Auto Detailing

This Ferrari 360 came in to Status Auto Detailing in Springfield MO with many more issues than I expected, especially for a car with only 12,000 miles. The front clip and hood had been repainted. . .poorly, and was orange peeled very badly. The orange peel was removed to the point of matching the faint factory orange peel in the adjacent panels. The exhaust needed major polishing, and the whole car was covered in swirls and scratches. The paint alone required approximately 20 hours of work. The only issue that couldn't be fixed at the time were the fairly serious dents in the exhaust can, left by a hack mechanic.

The original owner had left the protective plastic film on the carpet since it was new. This is always a very bad idea, as the plastic and adhesive tends to break down and bond with the carpet. The removal of the plastic required removing the seats from the interior and pulling up tiny pieces for almost 2 hours. This tedious process was followed by a thorough interior vapor steam cleaning and detail.

Following the interior detail and paint correction process, the paint was properly prepped and coated with 2 layers of Cquartz Finest Ceramic Coating. This beautiful Ferrari will now be protected for years, compared to only weeks or months with most waxes and sealants.

Almost forgot to mention (although there are no process pics) that the seat dye was touch up and both seats were re cleared. This was done in shop, by a top notch subcontractor.

Great work Jeremy you are at the top of the game! You work is always stands out!

Thanks guys! Something else worth mentioning is that my local interior repair subcontractor, took a plastic vent back to his shop to experiment with (with permission by the owner of course). If you've ever dealt with Ferraris, and a few other exotics, the interior plastic can get very sticky and melty looking. He was able to strip the old paint and match perfectly with a more durable paint. He was going to do nearly all the plastic interior parts, and for about half what is was going to cost to have it done by sticky no more...considering shipping and all that jazz. Long story short, that part of the job fell through, but I'm positive that similar issues can now be fixed locally in the future. If you've ever looked at prices of even some of the smallest plastic parts in Ferraris, you know why this is HUGE!

Jeremy, this Show and Shine is OUTSTANDING! I am now putting in my memory bank that you have some connections to do those pesky interior parts. Thanks bud!

Thanks so much Claude. That means a lot! If you come across parts like I mentioned, feel free to pm me on FB or give me a call. Same goes for any other Finest Installer or CarPro Detailer.

Beautiful work Jeremy!!! Really enjoyed that! Thank you for sharing it with CPF!!

Thanks Corey. I need to do more write-ups. I've been lazy lol.
