Last September we purchased 2 new vehicles. 2014 Tundra and 2014 RAV4. I CQUK'ed my vehicle within weeks (Tundra), but man, that kicked my butt! This thing is a huge vehicle. When I finally felt like addressing the RAV, work was busy and I was tackling a few other projects (retrofitting my Tundra was a big one!). So, with it finally getting warm out, I am ready to go and I have my sights set on the RAV4. When we had our old 2013 RAV4 I coated it with CQUK. Our 2014 is the same color (blue), so my goal is to do it even better than I did the first time. I have ~20ml of CQUK left from when I did my truck, which took a solid ~60-70ml for 2 thick coats, and I just ordered another 30ml of CQUK. And another DLUX. And some MFM towels
. So I am ready to go!!! I plan on tackling it late next week into next weekend. This will be coated vehicle #4
.
Everyone else excited its back to "detailing season"?
BTW- my CQUK lasted through the winter very nicely! I need to reapply a layer of Reload, but the CQUK was washed 2 or 3 times over the past 3-4 months (lots of projects going on at work), and it was still beading water very nicely! And the hard shine is still there on my silver truck
Here's what I am working with (pics before my retrofit):
I love CQUK
