When taping off plastic molding.Tape off molding then wax or tape off paint apply molding protection!

I personally do not tape off the trim when applying a wax. What wax are you applying and with what kind of applicator?

Mequire's gold class Carnauba by hand.

That Gold class is really bad on plastic. Be really careful with it.

Maybe you misunderstood. Do I tape off the molding to wax the car. Or tape of the car to apply molding protection.

Tape the moulding to apply wax to the car. Curious why you using Meguires GC.

It's what I have on my shelf. Will be using up products I have to be upgraded later.

I think I've confused you guys what I want to know is do I tape around the molding to apply Mequire's Carnauba Plus wax to the paint on the car. Or do I put tape on the paint around the molding to apply molding protection.

Apply the tape to the molding itself as close as you an get it to the paint. Keep that gold class as far away from black plastic molding unless you want grey molding. If u want a sample of Hydro2 send me your shipping info and I will send u some.
