first time doing Carpro CS Quartz coating

Qns.

I got the 10 pack of applicator 4x4 suede. Should I use One for each panel? For example, for the Hood, I would use one suede, one side door panel, one Right rear door, etc.

I also got two face 10 pack Carpro MF towels. Are these two face towels good for buffing off after applying the coating? For example, should I use one MF for the immediate wipe, one MF for the final wipe, and a new MF towel for every other panel?

How should these MF towels be cleaned? Should they be thrown in the Tide wash bucket right away to be reused?

Thanks

I usually use 1-3 per vehicle. IMHO If they are clean and primed they are good to go.

That question is a bit different. I use two for coating removal. That's why I get the orange and the blue.
One is for primary coating removal and the other one is to buff over the area to make sure there are no high spots.
When the 2 towels become "saturated" then I use two more.

How should these MF towels be cleaned? Should they be thrown in the Tide wash bucket right away to be reused?

Thanks

Personally, the 2 face towels I use for coating removal I throw away.
Short nap for primary coating removal. Long nap to buff of any remaining high spots.
For me, it's not worth the risk for a hardened coating in a used mf towel to scratch the paint.
The 6-8 2 face towels it takes to remove the coating application is well worth the price.
I would not suggest Tide. I might suggest a diluted APC bucket.

There are microfiber detergents made for washing the mf towels etc.
OBSSSSD Microfiber Detergent
https://www.carpro-us.com/microfiber-towels/obssssd-microfiber-detergent-16-oz/
CARPRO MFX Microfiber Detergent
https://www.carpro-us.com/microfiber-towels/carpro-mfx-microfiber-detergent-500ml-17oz/
Follow the instructions on the detergent. No dryer or NO heat in the dryer.
Dryer heat can "crisp" the microfibers and that can scratch the paint.

Can I ask you another qns.

I got Hydro2Foam thinking I can do sealant and washing in 1 step. I didn?t get Lift, Reset or other soap. However I have Gyeon Foam and Gyeon Bath+ soap leftover.

Taken from Car Pro's website store with regards to Hydrofoam...

HOW TO USE
DIRECTIONS ? FOAM LANCE
Work in shade, rinse vehicle thoroughly.
Dilute 1:9, close foam gun valve completely.
Apply HydrO2Foam all over the vehicle.
Immediately wash with mitt and rinse thoroughly.

Since it?s applied all over the car, how long I have to wash with Mitt section by section and rinse? Or does it mean do this panel by panel with Mitt then rinse it off? But again foam is still over the rest of the car. I saw few forum posts with Hydro2 foam steaks when left it over too long?

How much is the foam? Is it weak foam or good foam when used with Lance.

My idea was that after I coat the car with CSQuartz, I will use Hydro2Foam as my main wash soap to maintain the protection and sealant biweekly or monthly. I was going to do the bucket or Foam Lance wash with Hydro2 Foam. Did I make the mistake of not ordering Reset or not using normal soap for biweekly or monthly wash after coating?

Then every 3 months or so, I was going to use CARPRO HydrO2: Touchless Sealant (500ml) Concentrate to Top Off the Coating.

Is the sequence correct? The reason I didn?t order any other soap is to keep the minimum.

Other directions from Autogeek.

Directions:

First, you never want to apply CARPRO HydrO2 Foam in direct sunlight or on a hot surface. This will cause streaking that does NOT come off easily.
Once you?re in a sufficiently shaded area, rinse the vehicle thoroughly. You should leave the surface wet and clean of any soap residue.
If you are using a foaming device, coat the whole car with the CARPRO HydrO2 Foam mixture before moving onto the wash mitt step. If you are hand washing out of a bucket, wash the car section by section using your wash mitt. Immediately rinse each section well before moving onto the next panel.
If you?ve used your foaming device, now go over the whole car with your wash mitt. It?s recommended you use a Merino Wool mitt for best results. The CARPRO Wool Wash Mitt or Aussie Merino Wool Wash Mitt would be perfect.

Be sure to rinse thoroughly immediately after washing.
Once the car is fully rinsed, remove any remaining water by either blowing with a dryer or with a waffle weave drying towel.
