FlyBy30 barely beading?!

Hey guys, I just installed FlyBy30 on my daily driver and it seems to not head as well as I’d like. I prepped with ceriglass via hand applicator supplied. I installed two layers of FlyBy and let it cure. Two days later it’s raining and even at 60 it beads worse than rainx at 30! I got recommended to wipe down the windshield with straight up IPA. Today it rained on my commute to class and it worked a little better, now it beads at 60 a little better but nowhere as I’ve seen in videos online. I’m either going to remove it with ceriglass and apply again or add a second application. What do you guys think? I’ve never applied a coating to glass until now so I’m confused. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

My first question is were you watching videos of FlyByForte or FlyBy30? These are both different products.

Also did you use Eraser after removing ceriglass to have glass clean of any residue for the product to bond to?

Alright thanks. Just out of curiosity, I have readily available Meguiars microfiber cutting pads and Meguiars M100 compound. Would that have enough cut to strip the coating? Or would a CarPro Rayon pad and Ceriglass be the only combo?

Your experience is similar to my own when trying forte. I switched back to aquapel and apply every 6 months or so
