What is the general consensus as the best Madness drying towel: Waverider or Dry Me Crazy? Without considering the price, fully performance based :D.

I have both Madness drying towels and give the edge to the Dry Me Crazy towel. Both towels are amazing and do exactly what they say they do. The Dry Me Crazy provides more cushion and is a little easier to hold IMO.

I have 2 Guzzlers and I have been really happy with them. I'm just looking for that next great towel, and sometimes, depending on the vehicle, I need more than 2 of them in my size, so I need a 3rd towel. But I have my personal vehicles coated w/ UK and after sheet drying and blow drying I don't even fill up one. But if a car has wax or sealant that has worn off, they fill up quick since sheet drying doesn't work that well..I guess haha. And I want Madness one, since I would like to transition over to solely Madness since they are the best from everything I hear.
 
Ben has you covered, both are awesome.... If someone uses a blower I recommend the DMC Jr. as a handy towel for touch up as you go. In fact the jr can dry a full car on its own, pretty wild.

The Waverider is the best waffle weave I've ever used, no question (thickest as well) and I typically recommend this towel for anyone that hasn't decontaminated and polished their vehicle.

The Dry Me Crazy is the most popular of the two and I believe that comes down to the choice most people feel they must make. Which one!? I'd love to poll every buyer of the DMC and see how close they were or weren't to choosing WaveRider.

Here's a photo my friend Jose posted... It tells the story of the Microfiber Madness Dry Me Crazy! He didn't ring it once and when he was done not a drip was coming off it.

After receiving my Madness order the Waverider was the first drying towel I tried. I was blown away by virtually NO streaks and dried half the car with it. To be honest I didn't have much hope for the Dry Me Crazy but switched to see how well it would perform. I couldn't believe it, virtually NO streaks too. I opted for the 25x17 Dry Me Crazy and the 40x20 Waverider. Again, it came down to being able to hold the Dry Me Crazy a little easier. I wouldn't be afraid to recommend either though.
 
I have not tried my wave riders yet , but the dmc are awesome . got both sizes and do the bulk with bigger one and final touchup with the small one .
 
Dear Friends

I have both the Dry Me Crazy and Waverider and, like Wors, I believe performance is exceptional from both, but I give Dry Me Crazy the nod because it's easier to handle.

When drying after using Blackfire Rinseless, two light swipes is all it takes to completely dry an area. The soap has drying agents in it that help with drying, but either of these towels picks up about eighty percent of the water on the first swipe.

After drying an entire 2012 Honda Odyssey with Dry Me Crazy, the crazy towel is only damp, not wet.

You will love it! I still don't know where all the water goes. DMC is the only drying towel I will ever use for now on. I've sold a few to friends any the absolutely love them.

just wanted to add , I use these for traditional washes . for the ww/rw wash combo I do , I use the summit - 1 is all I need

Good info, thanks for the clarification. Dry Me Crazy will be used for traditional 2 bucket washes. I haven't gotten into the ww/rw washes that much...I just ordered UWW+ and have ONR, but haven't gotten into them.
