Harbor Freight under hood work light

So after working on the interior on the Saleen I picked up the other weekend, I had enough of not being able to see when doing interior work because of it being dark. I saw HF had a cordless LED underhood work light and decided to order one and give it a try. It came yesterday, however I really didn't mess with it much. I did go out in the garage and take a few pics just to see a how it works. Sorry for the crappy pics these were done with my cell phone not my DSLR. For the $30 shipped I think it seems to be pretty good, I guess we will see how it holds up. I have the light hanging from the attachments for the window visors in these pictures.

Todd, here is a link to the light on Harbor Freights website. You can also find a 20% off coupon to use if you buy one which makes it even cheaper.

Just received a Harbor Freight ad in the mail and the LED under hood work light is on sale again for $29.99. Regular 129.99.You can also find a 20% off coupon on line or in a flyer in your Sunday paper.

This is an older post, but I should mention that I just recently replaced my underhood light with a Saber LED corded unit that is way better then the HF one. The HF light just does not cast as much light as the Saber does. I will need to get a picture to compare the light output of the two.

Which model of the Saber LED light bar do you have? I'm trying to find a good way to light up the interior and keep both hands free, other than using the headband light (if that's what it's called).

Plus it will light up Joboys Brew Pub so you can enjoy those IPA's...

Kevin, I have the (80351) 15W LED Underhood Light with 25' Cord. It works great and I purchased it off Amazon.
