Good morning and Hello. I am new to this forum and wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself. I am just starting my new auto detailing business. I'm not necessarily new to detailing, just new to being on my own. My business name is Diamond Glow Auto Detailing, LLC. My business logo is in the final stages of being professionally designed, as well as, my website, and social sites. I'm very excited about those being done professionally. Hopefully within the next week or two they should all be completed.
I live in New Jersey (South Jersey, outside Phila.). So all my favorite sports teams are the local, hometown teams, like the Phila. Eagles, Phillies, Flyers. PLEASE don't hold that against me though
. I am married, Robin, with 2 GREAT kids (13yr old son, Kevin Jr. and a 9 yr old daughter, Gabrielle). I am a retired NJ Police Officer and a Marine Corps Veteran.
My passion for detailing runs deep. I have always had a passion for vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles), ever since I was a child. I would go outside with my dad and help him work on our family cars & trucks. That passion has stayed with me my whole life. I love every aspect of detailing. If I'm not outside detailing, then I'm doing research on paint technology, different products, reading various articles & books. It's more of a lifestyle I would say. I'm always looking to improve. I want to attend many, many training seminars & shows. I truly believe that you should always seek self-improvement on many aspects of life, not just detailing. Whether it's detailing, being a husband, father, etc, etc, I'm always seeking to improve myself. These are values I'm now trying to instill in my children. That no matter what, God is first & foremost, family, then the rest will fall in place. That's how I look at and feel about things.
Well, that's me in a nutshell. I hope I didn't bore everyone to death. I look forward to getting to know each of you, meeting you at a training course or a show, hopefully I'll get to work alongside some of you (Yes Corey, I AM TALKING ABOUT YOU ). I also thank everyone for reading. If anyone has any questions about detailing or anything else, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REACH OUT TO ME.
