Last weekend, I applied the correct dilution of Hydro2 and my vehicle and it looked fantastic. I followed the directions rinsing off the car with a high level of water pressure. I then flooded the vehicle with a steady stream of water. It's now a couple of days later and I'm now am seeing residue on the vertical parts of my car.
I'm trying to determine how to remove these marks. Should I be able to run my car through a car wash and reapply Hydro2?
Any help you can lend would be appreciated.
Regards,
Steven

Hi Steven, Im so sorry your question went unanswered. Could be a lot of things. A picture or description of what you mean by residue might help. Dirt, oil, road grime, spots, streaks, etc are all things that could help us help you. - hard to tell from your post but please refer to these tips for Hydro2 use.
Hydro2 Tips: - use in shade
Rule #1 wash the car
If it has wax or sealant use a soap that will kill that a bit. (Iron x and claying if needed to remove heavy contaminants)
Rule #2 rinse well and apply a fine mist of Hydro2 (diluted with at least 6 parts water minimum) to the wet / cool surface
- RINSE with a hose with good pressure after that section which will be about 15 seconds from when you started (this basically means you break the car into 5-6 sections at a minimum. (The reason we generally do NOT a pressure washer is because a pressure washer blows it around more than it flushes the product)
NOTE: Rinse means you rinse everywhere the product did or may have landed or floated in the air or dripped onto.
Move to next section
That's it-
For instance if your spraying the passenger side and you see the wind is blowing away from you just go ahead and assume you will be rinsing all the horizontal surfaces to avoid tiny overspray dots.
So, you sprayed a door and it's 5 seconds later or if your brave then the entire passenger side, it's 15 seconds later by the time you start rinsing.... You flip the hose nozzle back on.
FIRST thing you do is spray off the roof and horizontals really fast to dilute any mist up there (takes 5 seconds to dilute it) and then get to the vertical surface in front of you, which you intended on rinsing. If you think your moving too slow then run a mist of water across the whole side and then rinse more thoroughly immediately after.
If your slow then break the car into 8 sections or even more if you want to be safe.
Glass: if the car was baking in the sun and the interior was 180F consider the fact the glass may be warm and you need to cool each panel a bit with running water IMMEDIATELY before a fine mist of Hydro2 because it will heat back up very fast from the trapped heat inside.
Of course Dry the car when complete to avoid water spots

The following info may end up being useful for beginners and people that did not follow the tips above or for those that use it without the needed application tips and extended details that I like to share.
If a section is applied incorrectly then it is simple to solve if you get to it immediately.
Simply take a wet microfiber towel with one spray of Hydro2 on the wet towel and buff off the streak.
If you choose to wait then it will become more complex to remove. It's an extremely chemical resistant and durable product.
