Hi Everyone,

My name is Jeff Kempster and I am from Louisville, KY. I am an enthusiast detailer who I trying to build a home based detailing outfit. I am slowly building my arsenal with tools and products.

I have been reading through the forum and really enjoy all the posts. I received my first order today. Looking forward to trying out the new products.

I currently own a Flex 3401 but I am really considering selling it to purchase a Rupes 21. I have a GG6 and GG3 also.

In my recent order, I purchased a CarPro catalog and I am looking forward to being off work and reading through everything.

Thanks for reading and thanks to all who've posts I have read.

Hi Jeff...Welcome to the gang! So what products did you order?

Steve

I purchased Iron X, Eraser, CarPro catalog, tire applicators and wax applicators.

I am going to detail my personal vehicle soon so I am excited to have these products now.

Great start for sure, tire applicator is a must, i so love this thing. Makes 'em rubber shinning in no time.
Considering Reload or Hydr02 for your daily driver maintenance? Great products as well.

Welcome to the CPF!! CarPro has a great line from top to bottom. Also check out PERL. It looks great on tires 1:1.

Welcome to CPF!! Thanks for your support and hope to see you around often!

I have both the 3401 and Rupes 21. I only use the 3401 if the paint is trashed. Otherwise I reach for the Rupes 21.
The Rupes 21 is my GO-TO machine! I love the balance, weight, control & outstanding correction & finishing ability.
I use the 5" backing plate (option) with 5" pads. I use 5" Carpro flash pad for correction & CP 5" Gloss pad with Reflect.
If you can, keep the 3401. Each different type of machine (from a rotary to a PC 7424xp) has it's strengths & weaknesses.

IMHO the GG6" is a good strong machine. The GG3" is a bit weak for my liking. I prefer to use a 3" backing plate on the GG6".

Thanks Merlin. I like the idea of keeping both. I need to see how much business I get as a weekend guy and maybe add the 21 at a later date.
