How to clean gray plastic trim under the doors

My sister has a 2020 Hyundai Tucson. There is light gray plastic trim under the doors. They don't come clean when washing the car. What is the best way to clean them? Thanks.
 
Some all purpose cleaner and a soft brush will work. Be sure to protect the trim before it starts to fade over time.
 
Thanks Guz for your reply. Would Simple Green be safe to use on it?

What do you recommend to use to protect it?
 
I am not sure how well that would work as I don't use simple green. As far as protecting the trim you have the option to ceramic coat it with CarPro DLUX. If it needs trim restoration then I would look into solution finish and their over the top sealant.
