So I plan on purchasing the 500ml bottle of hydro with my next order, really want to give this stuff a try, and of course I have questions, so here goes.. once mixed can the solution be stored or does it have to be used shortly after? Also, just to verfiy, 16oz bottle would require 4 ounces of hydro.. 2 ounces for an 8 oz bottle and so on and so on???

It can be stored already mixed although personally I would use clean water in that case.

You can dilute it 4:1 so 3 oz hydro2 and 12 oz water.

Your numbers are good- it's just so concentrated your fine diluting it 4:1 with no ill affects.

I have distilled/purified water stored in 5 gallon containers that I use for mixing.. Per panel, how many, lets say sprays should I do, does the panel need to be completely soak or just misted??

reillyrn I use it almost everyday you can give me a call if you want and we can talk. Let me know I'll pm you my number.

Just a fine mist is all that's needed, I would take Todd up on his offer too! :). Thank you Todd!!

Here's my long hand tips (now you will see why Todd said "call")

Hydro2 Tips:

Rule #1 wash the car
If it has wax or sealant use a soap that will kill that a bit. (Iron x and claying optional)

Rule #2 rinse well and apply a fine mist of Hydro2 (diluted AT LEAST 3:1 to the wet / cool surface

- RINSE after that section which will be about 30 seconds at most from when you started (this basically means you break the car into 5-6 sections at a minimum.

NOTE: Rinse means you rinse everywhere the product did or may have landed or floated in the air or dripped onto.

Move to next section

That's it

For instance if your spraying the passenger side and you see the wind is blowing away from you just go ahead and assume you will be rinsing all the horizontal surfaces to avoid tiny overspray dots.

So, you sprayed the passenger side, it's 20-35 seconds later or sooner if your really fast, you pick up the hose and turn it on. FIRST thing you do is spray off the roof and horizontals really fast to dilute any mist up there (takes 5 seconds to dilute it) and then get to the side you intended on. If you think your moving too slow then run a mist of water across the whole side and then rinse more thoroughly immediately after.

If your slow then break the car into 8 sections or even more if you want to be safe.

Glass: if the car was baking in the sun and the interior was 180F consider the fact the glass may be warm and you need to cool each panel a bit with running water before a fine mist of Hydro2 etc

Question to add, I understand Hydr02 uses physical shock to activate, but what if not all areas hit with Hydr02 aren't gone over with a steady stream of water but all the product is rinsed off? Does the product not cure properly etc?

You just need to mist over each panel as best you can and rinse very well. Most people have problems form now using enough water before and after. Do a test spot you will see what I mean and there is no need to waste a lot of product."No problem Corey anytime :D"

The key is you don't need that much hydro, like everyone said just a mist. The stuff will spread out once you hit it with the water.

I only use a hose and a spray nozzle never a problem after 30 cars.

I think we are speaking the same language ;) To use a "flood" technique with just a hose (not using a spray nozzle), does not seem to be as effective in spreading and flushing. Obviously a nice power wash works good also :P
