just got gilmour foam gun, looking for foaming soap

I am looking for a really good quality soap to put in my gilmour foam gun that works well and suds and foams up nice in a foam gun. I tried chemical guys Mr pink today and was totally underwhelmed. Usually use ultima paint guard wash as my two bucket maintenance soap but haven't tried it in foam gun yet.

Any suggestions? Kind of leaning towards auto finesse avalanche but its rather pricey. Maybe car pro has a compatible soap?
 
What kind of LPS do you have? If it's a coating Reset works well. If not CG's HONEYDEW Foam works well in my cannon and gun. I wait for sales and buy my stuff then.
I do have the Avalanche soap too. I like it in the winter time or if the cars are extra dirty. They say it's citrus infused and it does a great job of cleaning.

I usually use sonus SFX 4 as my LSP. Which of those that you mentioned do you like the best?
 
All depends...LOL!

In the winter or if the cars are very dirty, I tend to reach for the Avalanche. It does a great job of releasing dirt, salt residue, and grime with the cannon.
My wife's car, which is coated, I like to use the RESET. I also use it on my truck since it is partially coated.
For general cleaning I will use the CG's Honeydew.
Just to throw this in, I have the IRON X soap too. That I use every so often for maintenance decon.

IXSS is awesome as a snow foamer. I actually use it neat on my mitt but if I used the snow cannon I would use IXSs in it often.
 
At work, our lot is right next to the Northeast Rail Corridor. Trains are always going by. With that,tons of railroad debris...
