Not really a review but a comment that I find the fg400 to be nice to work with. I just got some 3500 to follow it up but haven't tried yet.

I certainly heard good things about the menzerna products. Expensive too.

Great line of correction and polishing products. Can be finicky sometimes....

Got a bottle a few days ago. I used a microfibre pad. All the oxidation, swirls and water etches dissapeared but there are still some scratches though. I wonder if the scratches are too deep for the FG400 to remove?

The rule of thumb with scratches is if your fingernail can get caught on a scratch then its to deep to be removed with a polisher it requires a repaint.

Filler up with clear epoxy and seal it.

I am kidding of course.

I've been using FG400 for years now. It's a fantastic product that has great cutting capabilities yet can finish LSP ready.

However, today I did find that taking a second pass with Essence made the results ten fold better ;)

I agree. I find the FG400 to have a great working time, and pretty easy removal.

As I mentioned above, considering it's cutting capabilities it's amazing how great it can finish.

Dusting is a bit of an issue but FAR less than other polishes I've used, including Meguiars

I try a variety, but lately for most applications a yellow Euro foam by B&S has worked fantastic. That's what cut the above picture I posted!

It was Essence that finished it so nicely, though (used a blue pad for that for testing)

I've used a MF cutting, and even as low as an orange B&S euro foam with the FG400 and had great results

Menzerna makes some great compounds, I used them a lot before I found Scholl Concepts.
