My first time with a Subaru!

So I was super pinched on time so I only took pictures of some nice scratched the dog left in the back door. This was scheduled as a full in and out detail, I had another interior coming the same day as a trade for window tinting on my Durango so that was the time issue.

This was my first time dealing with Subaru paint and as others have said, it was stickie! It corrected very easy, however the wipeoff even with my edgeless towels was a pain. Painted was coated with CQ UK, trim was coated with Americana. I won't go into the interior as it wasn't remarkable, everything was wiped with ZEP citrus the protected with 303. Exterior was as follows:

Megs wash for paint and wheels. Wheels were cleaned with Sonax FE, tires were first scrubbed with ZEP 505 for the road grime followed by Tuff Shine tire cleaner, a total of 3 scrubbings were needed to remove the blooming. Boars hair brush, Daytona Speedmaster and woolies were used for the wheels, tire was tuff shine tire brush. Paint decont with Americana Ameririd and speedy prep town medium grade. Based on others I went with Menz 4000 on a white hybrid pad via flex. Paint was polished and some nice scratches were removed prior to Prepsol wipe down and CqUK on the paint, Americoat on the trim! Tires were coated with black pearl and wheels were sprayed with Permanon. Here are the scratches that were removed and the finished product.

After polish and coating!

All in all it was a good experience, I got to learn about the Subaru paint and I think it turned out darn good. Customer was more than happy with the results!

Awesome p.t.! We have the same car and the paint was different...
