Hello all,
I've recently been looking into putting CQuartz on my 2013 Chevy Sonic (black metallic). I'm a college student and don't have access to a hose or covered parking unless I drive a few hours to go home. That being said, I only wash my car at most once, maybe twice per two weeks. I bought my car new and have taken care of the paint well and am wondering what kind of CQuartz I should use. I've been thinking about UK because the application looks a little easier than classic and I've read it seems to look better with metallic paints. The reason I haven't done ceramic coatings in the past is because I thought the process was way more difficult. I also used to wash my car 2-3 times per week and waxed it 1-2 times per month before college. But now, I only wax/apply sealant about 4 times per year. Any suggestions on which CQuartz to use?
My next question is what do I need to wash my car after CQuartz? I currently use ONR rinseless wash&wax or Adams wash and wax. I know you don't typically want to use any products with wax in them after CQuartz. Is there anything I can use safely without using the two bucket method and hose; something that's either rinseless or waterless?
How often should I use reload? Is it the more often the better? I currently use Adams H20 guard and gloss and apply it after every wash. Should I do the same with reload, or is that just kind of wasting it?
I currently have in my cart to order CQuartz UK 30ml with reload, 500ml carpro eraser, and a Polyshave decon mini block (time for some new clay). Any critiquing or anything else I should add?
Thanks,
Robby
