HI there, I'm new to this forum. I recently bought a 2013 BMW M3 that was *very* well taken care of. The previous owner let me know he "recharged" the coating on the car and I'm assuming he meant the CQuartz UK coating as the windows had stickers to that effect (IMCQUK'd!).

So... now what? The paint is GORGEOUS and I want to maintain it. It gets hand washed only using Wolfgang Auto Bathe and dry with microfiber and air. So far, so good? At what point do I need to reapply CQUK and how? I'm no stranger to clay, polish, wax, etc - but something tells me this is a whole different ball of wax (so to speak).

Appreciate your expertise!

As Cooter mentioned get a bottle of CarPro Reset to do regular washes with. You could get some Reload to periodically 'boost' the coating.

If properly maintained the coating will last a few years.

You seem to know basics, so pointless to say to make sure you use a good washing technique!
Reset will help as it is smooth on Cquartz and will not harm it in any way.

It is also recommended to use CarPro spray sealant Reload every 3-6 months or so to give it a little "hooomph" back. Cquartz purpose is mainly to give it rock solid protection, even though it's gloss is amazing!

Everything the guys said!^ to add iron x it every few months after a reset wash. If it's not driven very often you can wait longer between Ix.

Reset is your best tool- wash regularly, follow good techniques as mentioned.

Reload, reset, and iron x. Thanks everyone.
