PERL in wheel wells/undercarriage

I normally go 2 routes in the wheel wells

1) Cheap spray on dressing which I can scrub and redo during normal car maintenance
OR
2) Apply DLUX

I would say there is nothing wrong in using PERL but I would not put it in the category of cheap spray on dressing :)

Makes sense!

How much cheaper are you really talking at 3:1 dilution? Only thing that comes to mind is hyper dressing. And if the durability of PERL is better I would call that difference negligible and chalk it up as a victory to PERL I haven't tested it this way just thinking out loud.

Completely understand where you are going with this. Let it be known that our roads (in sugarcane country) are muddy and nasty, so the inner fenders get really NASTY and regardless of what you dress them with you will have to reapply every detail. I clean the inner fender well with a variety of brushes and soapy water, and give it a quick spritz (and you did get it right HyperDressing). Cheap as all get up but something that will last long enough till the next maintenance wash. Only thing that does better is DLUX. Powerwasher in the fenders and they ROCK!!

Muddy hmm remind me not to come visit. I get it, in all honesty I just clean mine because the car is low enough that you barely see it anyway.

You come for the food, definitely not for the roads :) A big 5lbs of crawfish will make you forget about all the field dirt on the roads (from the sugarcane tractors hauling to the sugarmills!!
