Hopefully the professionals can chime in on this one....

I been having problems applying CQ Dlux.

Was applying INDOOR, in my bedroom in fact.
Honeycomb Grill, applying with one of those swab applicators that comes with the Dlux Skykit.

I was trying to apply it evenly, but then when i go over the area that was previously applied, white dust started appearing.
as if the coating was getting rubbed off from the plastic.

Now i am trying to even out the slots that i already applied DLUX. But it is getting worst and worst due to the fact the coating is getting rubbed back off.

Does any of that makes sense, anyone experience this before?

TBH, no i did not clean it.
It was a Brand New Grill.

Now i have had this situation / experience happen to me previously on some plastic trim on my car that was cleaned with eraser, and it still dusted those white particle.

Ivan, I am sorry to hear this. When applying DLUX, it is important to clean the application surface thoroughly (as Cooter has Already mentioned). Also when applying it is VERY important to work one area in even as you go. Start in one corner and work your way out. Don't take on to big of an area at once. Apply nice and even as you go, and avoid going back over it. Don't try to spread too thin but be sure to work it to an even coat in the first minute before moving to the next overlapping area. After a minute you should not be going back over an area that was applied.

On Textured trim dont wipe it off, just be sure you apply evenly as mentioned. On smooth plastic you should wipe it off before it becomes too sticky. In either case; After a minute you should not be going back over an area that was applied.
