I asked myself the question recently, when pondering the next giveaway and ultimately deciding to go with Elixir, what other ideas are out there. The idea for Elixir was born through as many of you know, Merlin, here on the forums and it makes me wonder if there are certain products, or items that you wish existed. This thread will be dedicated to all those things you wish you had or things that you feel could make the detailing industry better. Lets try to keep it realistic, as there isn't going to be a spray that fixes all the swirls in your vehicle lol.

Seeing as coatings are evolving how about a coating with some sort of self healing characteristics.

With more matte paints becoming prevalent from OEM manufactures, perhaps a matte specific coating from CarPro. Or does Skin fall into this category seeing as Skin is oriented to films or wraps.

Seeing a metal is a different substrate how about an actual metal coating for things such as chrome or aluminum.

If I think of something else I will post it.

Giving Snow Foam a stronger Iron X deconning capability while adding in the capability of Tar X also? Not sure how feasible that is...

A coating that can Be applied with the simplicity of a wax and as forgiving.

A tire coating. I know of one on the market currently but an expansion in that field.

I’d like to see an Iron X gel for wheels. Something a little thicker than IX but with a longer dwell time(up to 15 min) yet still sprayable.

I'd like to see an easy to use Carpro tire and rubber cleaner.

Spray, light scrub brush and rinse it off.
Brown, black, blooming all gone (poof) with a simple rinse.
I'm not looking for another dressing...just a bare "clean" tire.

There is a large variety of tire dressings.
They all need a "clean" tire before applying.

Well The Guz, in regards to the self healing coating, we have something in the works, but it will be only available for finest installers :(

The Skins intention is exactly that. to be able to cover all of those surfaces that the old coatings brought risk with.

and in regards to the chrome and aluminum, I will have to double check with corey, but skin may be the route for these surfaces as well.

I wonder how effective multi x will be at cleaning tires.

We consumers always have to wait for the good stuff haha. It seems like that is the next thing for coatings as they evolve.

One other idea that comes to mind is perhaps a silica infused wax for the carnauba lovers.

I would like to see a more durable version of Reload. Maybe use a combo of SiO2 and TiO2? A sprayable topper that sheets instead of beads would be something I would buy to cut down on water spotting.

I agree with Merlin that a tire cleaner which provides a nice cleaning power and reacts with dirt producing some nice suds would be cool. The tire cleaner should work well with PERL in that it shouldn't strip it completely but leaves the tire clean.

I also would like a new and modern detailing Cquartz Maintenance Bag which includes the new CarPro logo.

Some nice 5 gallon buckets with the CarPro logo offering 3 types with colors: Wash, Rinse, Wheels. It would be cool that the customer could customize their bucket setup with options such as size (3.5 and 5 gallon for example), snappy grips for a comfortable handle (color matched), gamma seals, dollys, and grit guards or even the new Dirt Lock from The Detail Guardz.

Many sport exotic cars comes with alcantara but there are very few products that are made to clean specifically alcantara. Maybe CarPro could change this area by bringing an innovative yet ready to use product that clean, condition, and protect it from constant use and oily hands.

A tshirt with the new logo that comes in other sizes than XL. The new polo should also come in different sizes.

These are just some ideas.
