Microfiber Madness: Yellow Fellow 2.0 (16" x 24") - MADE IN GERMANY

Re-designed specifically for perfection in polish removal!

When Microfiber Madness told me about their plans for improving the Yellow Fellow even further my first thought was, "How??? It's perfect!" Well, as usual in any conversation with Microfiber Madness it quickly became an intriguing conversation and I couldn't wait to try it for myself! The new Yellow Fellow 2.0 is a VERY special towel.

Redesigned from scratch and 100% Made in Germany, the "Yellow Fellow 2.0" has now been released in its upgraded form!

The redesign focused on improvements (if that was possible!) with regards to being a polish removal tool specifically. The Yellow Fellow 2.0 is made of a special ultra fine microfiber material that provides the best possible bite for removing polish residue but is softer then ever! Soft enough in fact, to avoid causing marring on even the most sensitive paints. Amongst the new upgrades the edgeless feature has been improved even further with softer and safer edges than even the original Yellow Fellow, while also being improved for even the toughest to remove polishes. Additionally the new 360g/m² weight allows Yellow Fellow 2.0 the ability to consume a vast amount of polish residue while utilizing the safety of the new ultrafine blend to remain soft longer. Tagless design (as with every Microfiber Madness towel) guarantees safety and no snagging on protrusions.

Key improvements of the 2.0 version:

Higher weight per m² (old 333gram, new 360gram)
Special ultra fine microfiber for a softer surface and less scratch risc
Even better ultrasonic cut edges
100% Made in Germany

Nope! I have NEVER had an issue with lint from them. Please note the YF 2.0 are made only for polish removal. That is their specific function and not for other applications. If you want a Yellow Fellow that is more multipurpose get the YF original.

Crazy Pile is the one people talk about the most but Yellow Fellow has always been my most used towel.
Not taking away from Crazy Pile though... They are the softest mf towel you will ever touch and don't lint EVEN on glass ime.

No lint issue with Yellow Fellow. It is the ideal towel when polishing. Corey why YF 2.0 is more for polish removal compare to the original?

James, the 16x16" will need some more weeks till we have it ready for sale. Because we moved the production from Korea to Germany, we have been in longer backorder of this towel.

The production over here in Germany is - believe it or not - much more difficult because just a couple of companies are left who produce fabric over here. Unbelievable if you know, that Germany was very famous and proud of many sewing companies, fabric Producers and so on... but the cheap production from China, Bangladesh and other low cost countries killed nearly every company. So it was not easy to find a fabric supplier who can fit our needs and supply us with the perfect raw material for the YF 2.0.

When everything was fine, we had so many backorder items at our dealers worldwide that we started to run the 16x24" towels first so supply all these backorders. "Unfortunately" when we release the 2.0 version, the run was so huge that we had to run the full first fabric Batch to accomodate the demand of the 16x24". So, to be honest, this first batch is completly cutted to this size and the new Batch needs longer to produce than expected because of the ultra fine fibers which are very sensitive.

Long explanation for this short and easy question, but we are honest People and we dont want to tell you tales or lies - so we wanted to explain the Background why we are not offering a 16x16" size at present.

To reply exactly on your question: We expect the 2nd Batch of the YF 2.0 raw material in mid of JULY, so we can hopefully start the production at the same time so we can announce the 16x16" in late July to the public!

Could be ;-) The demand for 16x24" was really high and at the end, the handling of a thinner polishing towel in that size is absolutely fine. Lots of detailers like it because there is no Need to Change the towel often during the polishing step. With a larger towel you can fold it and have a fresh side to use. As always: Ist personal demand and thats the reason why we will release additional the 16x16" towel. Its like the Incredi products: Some People love the mitts, others would never use one - others love the sponges and the other guy would never use one. So its good that you will have a choice soon! ;-)

I've come to the conclusion that more European's like the 16x24 towels. I've always preferred a 16x16 towel. I know its just a personal preference. I just like how it fits in my hand when folded. But you get quite a bit more towel with a 16x24. More surface area.
