Question about CarPro Suede Towel

Hello,

I just received my 16x16 CarPro Suede Towels and wanted to ask some questions.

1) Is it necessary to wash them before first use?
2) How should I wash these? (what kind of cleaning agent should I use and how should I dry them?)
3) Can I also use these for, removing waxes, cleaning car windows and final wipe after applying reload?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum.

It is not necessary to wash the suede towels first. It does help if you do as it removes the possibility of them linting.

You can wash them with a detergent that is free from any type of softeners, etc or a microfiber towel wash like Micro Restore. You can then dry them in the dryer on low to medium heat.

You can use them for those purposes as well.

Hey Guz, Can they be saved after buffing off CQUK by soaking them in some APC and throwing them in the washing machine later?

I’ve heard quite a few people do that. Trying that as I write this to see how my towels come out after using TiO2.

I had my towels soaking in a bucket with 2 ounces of micro restore and 4ish gallons of water. I agitated each towel as I tossed them in and let them sit overnight.

I noticed coating residue getting to the surface of the solution which is a good thing.

They then went into the wash with more micro restore and finally dried. They feel and appear to be ok.
