Question for Installers of Finest

Quick question for the Installers of CQ Finest. I had Finest applied to my new Outback 4 weeks ago and so far really liking it. When I first picked up the car after getting it applied the paint was very slick like a freshly waxed car. Well after 4 weeks that slickness is gone, the pain feels the same as before I got Finest applied. So the question I have is this normal or should it still have that slick feeling. I've washed the car twice with Reset since getting Finest applied. It still beads the water extremely well but seeing as this is the first time dealing with Finest or the CQ products so not sure what to expect. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Not a finest installer but do use pretty much all CarPro products. To regain the slickness feel you can hit it with CarPro reload, even though the slickness is gone believe me the protection is still there from the finest application. So if it is slickness you are after Reload should take care of that. Corey or anyone else can correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not too concerned with the slickness just curious as I've never dealt with it before. I do have Reload and plan on giving it a try to see if I run into the problems others have been having with the new version. I figured it was still on because it still beads water like crazy.
 
Yup, it's completely normal. As suggested above, Reload was most likely the cause of the "super slick" feeling. Although Reload should still be on there if you have only had it for 4 weeks.

I noticed the same thing. October 31 will be one year since the coating was applied. The coating is amazing. I've got some road rash and a few things that are to be expected on a daily driver. I have to say my car has the best looking paint anywhere I go and after I wash... The paint demands attention and turns heads.
A little OCD and Finest are a really good team.
 
Another amazing product for slickness is Ultima Waterless Wash (UWW). You will love it and it is stupid easy to use. Some folks have a hard time with ReLoad. I guarantee you won't with UWW.

I use this after I wash just to give a little more pop and slickness.
Love this stuff.
