This stuff is legit for sure.

Let me preface this review buy saying like most I was using Menz 4500 for super fine polishing. I had OK results with it but they weren't consistent. I am 100% sure that I was the issue not the 4500. It can be hard to wipe off, dust if you don't use enough, dust if you use too much, etc.

I bought some Reflect about 6-8 months ago but had only used it a few times. After talking to Corey and making a few changes on how I use it, it's nothing short of amazing.

The amount of cut it has, how fast it breaks down and how easy it is to wipe off is amazing. I tried to come up with a different word but that best describes it.

I will say using it on the Rupes 21 compared to the PC is a huge difference. The extra stroke of the Rupes enables Reflect to do things a super fine finishing polish shouldn't be able to do. When using it on the PC I still get the same amount of gloss as I do w/ the Rupes 21 but I don't get the defect removal.

IMO and I know Corey shares the same opinion on this, Reflect is one of the most under rated polishes out there. I'm doing my part to change that. :)
 
I'm still trying to get the technique down for Reflect myself. After getting some more tips from Corey and a few others here, I hope to have the same results. Those reflection shots are bad ass! Thanks for sharing...
 
JH... Awesome review and pics bro!! I LOVE the ones you did that show the difference with out any lighting needed. Just a deep dark wet (by 10 shades) difference. Awesome bro!! Thank you for posting a fun read and great job on the review!

I was using a 3401 with LC hybrid white/ black pads & LC hydro crimson pads. I've added Buff n Shine Blue/Black pads for when I try next time...

I've the BS black pad on the last three vehicles I've corrected and so far it's worked out great. Since the pad is on the soft side I use moderate pressure to control it's rotation. What I mean is if a pad is too soft a lot of the motion from the machine is lost by the time it gets to the paint. When the pad wiggles around like jello so do the abrasives. They basically have no sense of direction and instead of moving with the rotation and oscillation of the machine they move around all "willy nilly" By using more pressure it compresses the pad some and some of the "jello" like characteristics go away. I ended up using more pressure and more speed than I ever thought I would with a "super fine" polish? I know of several other Finest Detailers that use stiff pads with Reflect and have awesome results. There's more than one way to do it, you just need to find what works for you.

Did any of that make any sense? LOL.

At first I was like how are you controlling pad rotation with the Flex, then I checked above you're using the Rupes. What you shared makes sense, I'm determined and confident I'll get it right with your guys help....

I have zero experience with forced rotation polishers so I might not be the best person to get info from. That last thing I want to do is hinder your results. From talking to Corey I know he has experience with the Flex and has had great results with it.

I ran into this issue this weekend working on my own vehicle. I had a hard time finishing down using the Rupes with Reflect on a finishing pad. I came to the conclusion that the surface I was working on didn't like the action of the Rupes. I switched to the Flex on a hybrid finishing pad and it was smooth sailing rest of the way. I didn't consider pressure and speed to be the root cause. This makes sense. Thanks....
 
Reflect polish is absolutely amazing. I have had some amazing results with it and yet to have a customer complain about the work.

i have been getting drunk off Reflect too! recently i polished a 2015 Infiniti QX80 with it. for the soft paint, it was perfect!!
i also like the new tops! they are easy to get product out in a nice small line or bead on the pad...

hmmm imma need to buy me a bottle. I use menzerna for polishing.

Could you share some tips of using this polish? For a light 1 step polish, does it work well with LC white polishing pad with GG dual action polisher?? Does it work well with faster or slower speed setting? How long is the working time? Is this non-diminishing or nano-abrasive tech? Do you apply constant pressure from beginning to finish or should you use lighter pressure at the final 2 passes? How easy to wipe off the residue? Any dusting issue? Any haze or mar issue if used improperly? And the very important question, how does this compare with Meg M205??

A.
1) It works well with a GG. I've used it with a 5" Backing Plate and LC HydroTech Red
2) For a GG I might suggest a slower setting
3) Varies, you can tell when it breaks down
4) Diminishing
5) I use constant pressure
6) Very Very easy.
7) Not worth mentioning
8) Not that I have found
9) A Famous quote "Kick up a notch".
I've used it after M205 and can tell a distinct improvement in clarity, and sharpness.
 
Very good answers. Does it cut more than M205? It seems to me Reflect is super ultra fine polish for super duper final finish for max shine??
