Reload application and durability

Hi everyone

I need your recommendations for long durability (6 monthd) when I apply Reload

I have tried different methods:

Wash / decon clay / eraser / Reload
Wash / iron x / tar x / wash / decon clay / eraser / Reload
Wash / iron x / decon clay / paint correction / eraser / Reload
Wash / iron x / decom clay / essence (3+ hrs cured) / Reload

With the respective following of my consumers cars, in none of the previous applications, I get a durability up than 3 months. The cars washed with Reset.

I don’t understand what I may be doing wrong, I have also regulated the amount of application, with more and less per panel, I liked more the previous version, I felt that it lasted longer, that it was thicker Reload coat, will there be any future update?

Avi just made this post over on Autogeek. Maybe it will help.

The product description states up to 6 months. So 3 months longevity in the real world seems about right. Perhaps Reset is degrading it a bit as it is a bit stronger wash.

Thanks for the info. But what I was mean to is that the hydrophobic properties never reached 3 months. In some cases after the 3 washes, only sheeting, absolutely nothing of beading.

I understand that Reset (1:500) is the maintenance shampoo and that it would not affect the hydrophobic properties or just for Cquartz coatings and not for silica sealant.

I really don't have an answer for you. Perhaps Corey can chime in and give you a better answer.

The environment the vehicle is exposed to also plays a role in the way a form of protection behaves.
