Removal of DLUX on textured plastic

Hi, I think I made some mistake when applying DLUX on textured plastic which is in dark blue. There is some oily stuff or streaking in some areas. I wonder what ways can I remove DLUX and redo the process again?

Thanks.

Hey Andy,

Is Dlux streaking, or something else?, water maybe?

A strong Ph, undiluted APC, IPA and lots of elbow grease should do the trick!

Let us know the outcome please.

Thanks for the tip.

For the problem I am having -- the DLUX appears to be streaking on two specific sides (well, it is a new carry-on wheeled luggage with textured plastic) as I wanted to cover all the tight spots.

I may try a APC with a strong PH but it may affect the plastic as I didn't know if there is any other coating or dye on the luggage. May leave as is since the streaking is visible in sunlight only.

The strong APC (pH >12) undiluted will work on the DLUX for sure but will also remove the "oils" of the plastic surrounding, so be careful. I do agree though that it may be your best bet (with some elbow grease to scrub)
