About a month ago I used Hydro2 1:4 on my brand new Yukon. I would like to apply Cquartz to the car before we hit winter and am under the impression Hydro2 needs to be removed first. On the bare paint I plan on using Essence to polish but I would rather not try polishing the Xpel Ultimate. What are my options here?

As another question I've heard of someone applying a layer of classic over UK with great results but can't find where I read that. Whats the general opinion here?

Polishing it with Essence should remove it from the paint.

Fc D Rillon on Facebook has been layering Classic and UK. He's done several vehicles using the two. Hit him up on FB. He's a nice guy. I'd bet he'd give you some tips!

You can polish Xpel Ultimate with Essence to remove Hydro2. Because Ultimate is self healing, polish very lightly, with a light polishing pad (such as a gloss pad), using a moderately slow speed. Essence will work well, just don't get aggressive and generate a lot of heat.
