Rubber Floor Mats

Does anyone here ever do anything other than an APC wash for Rubber floor mats? I am thinking of trying either UWW+ or PERL 1:5 to see if I can give them a deep black uniform apperance. Thoughts?

I've done PERL straight, 1:1, 1:2 and liked it, but it does make the mat slippery a bit and the dusty footprint upon first use are a pain
