So2Pure remove chemical cleaner residue from carpets?

Acquired a used car recently and chemical cleaner residue is still in the carpeting - which emits odors/fumes - especially when car is left out in the sun with the windows up. Will So2Pure remove the cleaner residue from the carpet? or does it 'layer' on top of it? Thanks.

SO2Pure will will remove the odor, but not residue. Carpets and upholstery must be thoroughly cleaned and all residue removed before applying SO2Pure.
