Tell Me About Long Throw Polishers

I am sitting on the fence looking at a long throw to add to my GG6" and 3". What subtle thing is it about the ones you use that makes them a favorite and why?

I just picked up a Rupes LHR 15 Mark II from Corey on Friday. Hoping to be able to do corrections faster with the long throw. I hvae a PC, GG 6", and an MT300. All are fine, but looking forward to using a top-tier machine. I have used Rupes before, and they are excellent.

When I actually use it, I will let you know my impressions.

Long throw versus short throw is no comparison! Correction so much faster with either Rupes or Boss machines. If you somehow head towards the flex 3401, takes a little adjustment but will do some amazing work. Forced rotation so similar to using rotary but still DA safety.
