Hi gang,

No pictures yet. Bread and milk are gone! The media have lost their minds...LOL!

When I went to bed Saturday night the Clipper system was going to blow by us to the south and 1-2 inches. This was 2230 hours. Sunday morning at 0500 hours, SNOWMAGGEDON, possibility of up to 2 feet of snow! I guess alot can change in a couple of hours. Totals have been changing each hour so
we are ready. My side of the state expects 10-16 inches and the east side 18-24 with locally higher amounts.
I will get pics up as the storm progresses.

Hey Steve, I was born and raise in Northern Quebec (about a 100 miles of the Hudson Bay)and I don't understand this craziness associated with 2 feet of snow. I've experienced way worst to the point that snow depth + drifts were to the eaves of the house and that we needed to tunnel out of the kitchen window to shovel the entries to the house (and restore natural light)

That's easy Claude...Lindsey Lohan is behaving so there is nothing to report. Deflate gate has run its course so things are slow...LOL!
I knew it was bad when one major network said THIS WILL BE THE BIGGEST SNOWFALL IN BOSTON...since 2 years ago. As the guy stood on a salt pile a1/4 mile high.

Lucky! We have been getting shafted on the snow this year and by Wednesday what little we have will likely be all gone.

Can;t wait to see pics though! :)

Of course they show only the craziest people around who buys 5 tons of cans and whatnot to survive the next couple of days.. ! You guys will survive ! I don't remember which city authority was telling the press about an obligation to stay home as of tonight.. my! =P

Better enjoy the moment, go outside and play with your kids. So many fun stuff to do with snow!

I'd be buying some steaks and charcoal!!!! Well, incase I didnt have electricity for a few days.

Good luck to you guys up north. If that happened in my neck of the woods, there would be people dead all over the place. We cant handle 6in of snow.

Well, so far only 3 inches or so. They say that it will start cranking overnight so tomorrow I may have some pics. As of 11p.m. tonight NY WILL shut down all transportation hubs, including the subway system. It is very peaceful outside.

Hopefully the power stays on but we do have a generator. My wife is from Alabama originally and enjoys the snow but in a couple of years we will be moving down there.

Yeah this storm had been a total flop for us. They were saying 5-8 in our area, and I think we might have got 2-3 possibly. Must be nice to get paid to give people false info all the time :)

I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. To all you folks up north BE SAFE.
I live in sunny south Florida...yes, we do get the occasional hurricane.
I'll take that over snow and ice. My idea of up north in the winter is Orlando.

Maybe a total of 4 inches...maybe? The best part now is the finger pointing...Politicians -> NWS..
This storm wasn't predicted until Sunday morning. With that said one meteorologist basically said we busted. Another had the audacity to say that the models were right...each hour as they updated. I can stick my head out the door and do that. I don't need a computer for that...LOL!
Nothing is perfect so with that said, show some humility when you do get close to a proper prediction and not beat your chest and lecture us about how educated you are and you were on the money. Yet when you miss the prediction, you fail to acknowledge your oopppss.

Funny story, it's been pretty windy here today though as we received just a small peak of what it must have been to you guys.

I heard some folks had fun snowboarding in Town Square, must have been pretty cool!
