Tire Cleaner?

Merlin

I love shiny things
What is you favorite tire/rubber cleaner?

This is not the final dressing but the tire cleaning beforehand.

I'm talking...spray, agitate with a tire brush, rinse off.
I'm looking for all the "brown"/dressing to wash off the tires.
I'd like the results to be a flat "clean" tire when it's dry.

Your thoughts?

Adams Polishes has a really good Tire and Rubber Cleaner, and probably my favorite product from them. It works well at taking off the brown from blooming.

I’ve also used it to clean window seals with my lugnut brush and that works well too.

I've never tried Wise Guy. Is it better than Tuf Shine?

In your ratio, is that 1 unit of Wise Guy to 2.5 units of water?

Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner has been my go to for getting tires really clean.
Tuff shine and a good brush, was an eye opener for me. I bought a gal of concentrate and instead of 1:1, I found that it works really well at 1:2 for tires that aren't too bad.

Is there anything in the CarPro range that cleans tire / rubber in preparation for a dressing (PERL)? I’m wanting to simplify my selection to just CarPro products

You are going to have to venture out to a different brand for a tire cleaner. As far as rubber or plastic trim you can use Inside

Im using Adams Tire and Rubber Cleaner along Tuff Shine brush to clean my tires. I spray it using a duck foam sprayer which helps to create more foam and spread the product. This product leave the tire with a factory look. Honestly the tire looks clean.

I have used MANY different "Wheel cleaners" over the years and I just got around to trying TUGA Devil Special Wheel Cleaner.

This is the BEST "Wheel Cleaner" I have ever used! Stop your searching! It's sprays, it's thick, and it works GREAT!

I recently started to use the new Adams Wheel and Tire Cleaner it provides a lot of foaming and lubricity. It cleans the tires deeply and removes completely any dirt, grime, and dressing so that you can apply PERL from a fresh like new tire. I ended buying the gallon with a aftermarket 32oz as the 16oz from Adams didnt lasted too long. I also bought Adams wheel face brush which its very plush and soft. It has a nice grip and works very wheel to clean the face of the wheel in seconds without scratching.

Most of the time we face below question when we talk about tyre cleaners, Is there any special cleaners are required or an APC is enough?
