We are bringing in the Tornador Black very soon and curious about the vacuum attachment. I elected not to carry the Tornador vac attachment for now but was curious if anyone reputable has tested it.

I thought this would be about a storm in Alabamer![]()
I am with Jim, I always wanted a Tornado. Let me know when you get them in Corey.
How exactly does the Tornador work? All the demos I've seen just look like a weak-ass compressor blowing on things and generally being useless and more like a fad.
Here is my first hand account of the Tornador black. I use that tool ALL the time and could not imagine doing details without. I've only used it with APC solutions although I have heard of other types of application. The best way that that I've heard it described was in a thread on another forum in which the OP was looking for a comparison of usefulness between it (Tornador) and a steamer. The best comment and description is that "The Tornador is a chainsaw compared to the steamer which is a scalpel". It (Tornador) will cut through all kinds of stuff in a hurry and does it rather surprisingly well. It is not known for its finest but nooks and crannies don't stand a chance. Can you accomplish the same out of a steamer? Yes!, but you will spend a little more time finessing the steamer.
My Tornador operates at 90 PSI on a 30 gallon shop compressor, and does not skip a beat. It works with or without solution and will drive nasty dirt and grime out of a dingy carpet in a hurry (and push compressed air to drive dirt and dust out of vents, crevisses etc..). Because it does deliver liquid (which you can control with a valve on the side) you can drive it to liquify caked on dirt in gaskets, oily residue in door jambs, and embedded dirt in canvas tops. I also use it to detail engine baysBecause it deliver liquids, you do have to be careful with perforated leather. The cyclonic action of the tip does create a "lift" effect (same as a Tornado, hence the name). It never ceases to amaze me how much it works. Would I buy another one if this one died?? HECK YEA!
Here is a video of me cleaning some leather seats. Lifted that embedded dirt right up!! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=588002524595459&set=vb.140247069371009&type=3&video_source=pages_video_set
Actually used the Tornador in my pre-treatment of this NASTY carpet before extraction

Looks impressive. Watched some vids on youtube showing how good it is on cloth seats and my question is where does the dirt go? It just blows so is it pushing the dirt into the fabric or is it spraying it out all over the interior?
